Christine Cartwright has lived in Great Chishill for thirty-two years and has served on the Parish Council for the past two years.  Her husband, Chris had previously served on the Parish Council for eight years.  Christine has three sons who were all born here. Her Mother was a familiar face to Great Chishill and her Mother-in-law currently resides in the family home. Over the years, Christine has been very involved in various aspects of Village life, she organised the first ever sausage lunch and ran the Children's Christmas Party for eight years. She was also Chairperson of the Millennium and Golden Jubilee Committee's and initiated the fundraising for the Children's Playground.  Christine has been a life long supporter of the Liberal Democrat Party.
