I  was brought up in the nearby village of Sandon (where my father and grandfather farmed), with 3 sisters, and 1 brother, who stills farms there.
In 1964 I married Peter Wiseman and we went to live at New Farm. Chrishall for 12 years. where our 2 children Diane and Michael went to school.
Grandpa Eric Wiseman retired in 1976 and we moved into Hall Farm Gt. Chishill, which was Peter’s birth place, to run the farm
I used to drive a tractor for corn cart, until the children were able to take my place. I then ran a Bed and Breakfast for 28 years.
I was a founder member of The Carpet Bowls Club. I also belong to the WI, ring hand bells and Church tower bells in the villages.
I was a Village Hall committee member for 17 years.
I go to Silver Surfers and the village Whist drive, both held in the chapel school room, these and The Wine Circle, have helped me to meet and get to know Great Chishill  people.
